£300,000 cannabis factory discovered in Waterside Business Park unit: Chesham

Thames Valley Police has released images of a cannabis factory found in a unit on a business park in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.

Officers attended the Waterside Business Park in Waterside at about 8.20pm on Friday (14/10), to investigate an unusually high electricity usage which had generated a large bill.

Officers forced their way into the unit (numbered 5B) after obtaining a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act and found about 820 medium sized plants, which are estimated to have a street value of £300,000.

The plants were sent off for forensic examination and the investigation is ongoing.

Det Sgt Kerry Bradfield, based at Amersham CID, is appealing for anyone who saw people entering or leaving the unit recently to contact police.

If you can help, please call Thames Valley Police's 24-hour Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
