£50,000 watches and £15,000 truck taken in break-in: Terrington St John
(PE14)

Officers are appealing for information following the theft of a number of expensive watches from a property in Terrington St John.

The incident took place some time between 7.30pm on Sunday, 4 April and 3am on Monday, 5 April, at the house in Old Church Road.

Unknown offender/s gained access to the property by breaking open a window before carrying out a search and making off with a safe containing various watches and jewellery valued at more than £50,000 in total. 

The watches included: 

  • a men's Rolex of white gold and chunky in style
  • a men's yellow gold Rolex with diamonds around the face
  • a lady's Chanel watch with a white face with pink diamonds
  • a lady's Rolex watch of yellow gold with diamonds around numbers and diamonds and rubys around face
  • a mens Half Hunter pocket watch.  

A black Mitsubishi L200 4x4 truck, bearing the registration AE58 DPY and valued at approximately £15,000, was also taken. 

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident or who may have been offered such items for sale in suspicious circumstances.
