Police are appealing for information after three sausage machines were stolen in a burglary in Gateshead.

Between 4.30pm on Friday, January 27 and 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 1, thieves broke into an industrial unit on Station Approach, Team Valley Trading Estate and stole three sausage machines, including a mixer and mincer, worth almost £7,000.

Anyone who was in the area around Station Approach over last weekend and saw anyone in the area or has any information about the whereabouts of this equipment is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191.
