10 Koi Carp and water feature stolen from Waterworks Aquatics Centre: Staunton Harold

The incident happened between 5pm on Sunday July 17 and 9.10am the following morning (Monday July 18, 2011) when thieves broke into Waterworks Aquatics Centre on Melbourne Road and stole 10 Koi Carp fish.

They also stole a large stainless water feature.

PC Gary Gavin, who is investigating the incident, said:

"We appeal to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area between these times to get in contact with us.

"We also appeal to anyone who has been approached by someone selling Koi Carp fish in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 1230 Gary Gavin on Leicester 0116 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 1230.
