Appenzella Spitzhauben

Police are appealing for information after rare chickens were stolen from Hainford.

Between 4pm on Tuesday 13 December and 7.55am on Wednesday 14 December, the 15 hens and one cockerel were taken from sheds in a field off Church Road.

They are of the rare Appenzella Spitzhauben breed in Silver Spangled colour.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have knowledge of where the chickens are now, or anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this area overnight Tuesday/Wednesday.

Calls should be made to PC Colin Bailey at Aylsham Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
