16th century book stolen from St Michael's Church: Buckland

Police are investigating after a 16th century book was reported stolen from a church in Buckland near Broadway.

The black hard back book, Foxe's Book of Martyrs, was stolen between 9am on Friday January 20 and Friday January 27 from a glass cabinet in the church.

The value of the book is not known.

Gloucestershire Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101.
