Detectives have issued a close circuit television (CCTV) image of a man they want to speak to following an assault at a Stoke-on-Trent pub.
The man, wearing a light-coloured, buttoned, long sleeved top, was captured on CCTV at The Sagger Makers Bottom Knocker on Market Place in Burslem.
The assault took place in the early hours of Sunday 11 December 2011 in the rear smoking area of the pub.
A 32-year-old man was assaulted by two men and sustained serious facial injuries, for which he is still receiving medical treatment.
Anyone who knows the man captured on CCTV is asked to contact DC Richard Stott at Staffordshire Police on 101.

NOTE: Police have arrested one of the offenders, a 40-year-old Stoke-on-Trent man, who has been charged with wounding/causing grievous bodily harm and remanded in custody.
Officers are now seeking to identify and trace the second offender.
