Police were called at approx. 01.40 on Sun. 25/1/09 to reports of a fight at an address in Clarendon Gardens, Wembley.

A 26 year-old-man suffering a stab wound to the chest, and a stab wound to the shoulder, was taken to Northwick Park Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

He has now been named as Bartosz Marysczak (correct spellings) (12.12.82 - 26 ys) of Clarendon Gdns, Wembley born in Poland.

A post mortem conducted gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the chest.

An incident room has opened under DCI Steven Lawrence [HSCC].

DCI Steve Lawrence of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command said:

"At this time we are still piecing together what happened in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

"Anyone who believes they have information that may assist the investigation is asked to call the incident room."
