Police have seized cannabis plants during a search of premises in the Dundrum Road area of Newcastle yesterday, Sunday 1st January.

Officers entered a property and discovered a cannabis factory with approximately four hundred plants of differing sizes.

Police would appeal to anyone with information on illegal drugs, cannabis factories or anyone that is selling drugs in the area, to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
