Thieves have stolen 900 litres of domestic heating oil from a tank situated in the grounds of a house in the Stracathro area of Brechin.

The tank was emptied sometime between 7 January and 11.45am on 14 January.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who knows who might be responsible, or anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, to get in touch on 0300 111 2222.
