The owners of three cars that were damaged in Littlewick Green, near Maidenhead, are offering a reward for information leading to the conviction of those responsible.
Some time between 8pm and 10.45pm on 20 April, a corrosive substance was thrown over a red Ford Fiesta, a blue Audi S3 and a silver Aston Martin Vantage that were parked in Burchetts Green Lane, causing extensive damage to the paintwork and windows of the vehicles.
PC Alex Massey, who is investigating the incident, said:
"The substance caused the paintwork to bubble, exposing the metal underneath. It is estimated that the total cost of repairs to all three cars will be around £25,000.
"The owners are offering a reward of up to £2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the damage.
"We are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward and assist with our investigation."
If you saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the area at the time, or if you have any other information about the incident, please contact PC Massey on 0845 8 505 505.
If you don't want to speak to police or give your name, please call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
