Police investigating a burglary in Stow on the Wold have released photos of stolen antiques, in the hope of recovering them.

Between 8am and 8.30pm on Sunday October 17 offenders forced entry to the home on Moreton Road.

Once inside they stole a number of items.

These include:

  • antique bronze ornaments of a pheasant and a branch with canaries on it
  • Philpotts painting of flowers
  • several pieces of silverware
  • antique furniture

Officers are asking anyone who recognises these items or who has perhaps been approached to buy them to contact the police as soon as possible.

Anyone with any information about the burglary or the stolen items is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234.
