Thieves broke into a bowling club in Withington and stole cash.
Around 12.10am on Tuesday 29 June 2010, four men forced two doors at the club on Birchacre Grove and ran into the bar.
The bar manager set the alarm off and together with two club members who were in the bar, ran towards the club toilets.
One of the offenders threatened one of them with a knife and the second member was forced to the ground.
The men searched the bar and office, stealing some cash.
They ran out of the club towards Elizabeth Court, Brook Road, which backs onto the bowling club.
The offenders were all wearing dark clothing and their faces were covered.
Detective Constable Chris Markey of West Didsbury CID said:
"Thankfully no one was injured during the attack but this does not reduce the seriousness of this robbery.
"Anyone who thinks it is acceptable to not only carry a weapon but also to threaten someone with it needs to be caught and made to face justice.
"I would ask people who may know who is responsible for this robbery or if you saw something that may help the investigation, then please call us."
Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 6153.
