Police in Elmbridge have released two CCTV images as part of a fresh appeal for information following an incident where a vehicle was damaged in Walton-on-Thames last month.
The incident took place at around 4.40am on New Year's Eve (Saturday, 31 December 2011) at the Walton Audi car dealership in Station Avenue.
The suspect approached a grey Audi Q5 on display outside the front of the dealership and used an implement to scratch the bonnet of the vehicle 30 or 40 times.
The damage to the vehicle will cost an estimated £1,000 to fully repair.

Detectives have now released two CCTV stills taken in the local area of a man officers believe could be able to provide vital information to assist with this ongoing investigation.
