Badly burned body discovered in torched Skoda: Temple Bruer

At about 9.10am on Tuesday 6 October, police attended the scene of a car fire on a minor road between Temple Bruer and Navenby.

The Fire and Rescue Service were already in attendance.

A Skoda Octavia estate car had been very badly damaged by fire and it was discovered that there was a badly burned body within the vehicle.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the deceased.

Police believe that we know who he may be, but will not be in a position to release any further information until a post mortem has been carried out, and relatives and friends of the deceased have been located and informed.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
