Burglar attempting forced entry caught on CCTV: Barwick in Elmet

Police have released footage of a hapless criminal who was caught on CCTV inches away from the camera as he attempted to break into a house in Barwick in Elmet.

The incident occurred on Saturday 17 September as two suspects attempted to break into the property before fleeing the scene after the alarm was triggered.

Anyone recognising the suspect is asked to contact the Neighbourhood Investigation Unit based at Killingbeck Police Station via 0845 60 60 606.
