Police are appealing for witnesses after a marked police car was damaged in Weston-super-Mare.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 14th April 2009 at around 6.15pm.

The police car was parked in Nightingale Close, Weston-super-Mare in the Mead Vale estate.

The rear windscreen of the vehicle was smashed with a small concrete block which was left in the car.

A man wearing a grey hooded top and glasses was seen running from the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which could help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Weston-super-Mare police station on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
