Police are appealing for witnesses after a marked police car was damaged in Weston-super-Mare.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 14th April 2009 at around 6.15pm.

The police car was parked in Nightingale Close, Weston-super-Mare in the Mead Vale estate.

The rear windscreen of the vehicle was smashed with a small concrete block which was left in the car.

A man wearing a grey hooded top and glasses was seen running from the scene.
