A home was defaced with orange spray paint and the victim's car had paint poured over it.

The side wall of the house, kitchen window and front door had derogatory words sprayed across them between 4am and 7am on the morning of Monday 8th June.

PC Neil Wilkinson of Redcar and Cleveland Police said:

"We will not tolerate this behaviour.

"We take matters such as this very seriously and we would like to urge anyone who may have witnessed anything or seen anyone acting suspiciously to contact Police."
