Detectives in Dunstable are appealing for information after a burglary at a property in Lower Stondon last Wednesday 5 January.

The burglary took place between 5.30pm and 7.40pm at a property on Station Road.

The offenders accessed the garden and smashed through a rear door to get into the house.

Once inside, the offenders searched the property before making off with a large amount of Royal Crown Derby china in suitcases owned by the victims.

They also incapacitated the victim's three dogs which required veterinary treatment after the incident.

Detective Sergeant Sean Quinn investigating said,

"The victims are clearly upset by what has happened and we are asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious to come forward."

"Do you remember seeing anyone in the area prior to the offence, or do you remember seeing anyone carrying suitcases away from the area?

"We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered the china for sale."

Anyone with information can contact DS Quinn in confidence on 01234 841212, text to 07786 200011.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
