Around 9.45pm on Wednesday 8 July 2009 a number of shots were fired by the occupants of a BMW M3 on Tulketh Crescent.

The vehicle is described as a sports car which was white in colour and is said to be very distinctive.

Police enquiries have indicated that the car may have been on the Savick estate in the city near to the Savick pub in the hour before the incident.

DCI Andy Murphy, from Lancashire's Force Major Investigation Team, said:

"Our enquiries into this incident continue and we are keen to find out the vehicle's movements before the incident on Tulketh Crescent.

"I would ask anybody who thinks they may have seen this car during the early part of the evening of Wednesday 8 July to contact Preston police on 01772 323024 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
