Gardai in Navan have carried out a search of a house in Navan Co. Meath.

The search was carried out earlier today - 30th January 2009.

In the course of the search Gardai recovered 12 shotguns, one high powered rifle and a quantity of what is believed to be cannabis resin with an estimated street value of Euro 80,000 pending analysis.

Two males in their late 20's have been arrested and are currently being detained under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Navan Garda Station.
