Police in Droitwich are appealing for information following the spraying of a distinctive graffiti ‘tag' around the town.
The tag which consists of the letters WFBS has been scrawled in a number of locations over the past few weeks a police want to track down those responsible.
PC Julie Liddington said:
"There have been a number of instances where this tag has been sprayed, from the town centre leading to the Chawson estate and now at the cricket club in the Lido Park.
"This behaviour is illegal and highly irresponsible as the cost of cleaning up graffiti is significant to all of those people whose property has been damaged.
"We would like to hear from anyone who has seen the offender in action or who has any idea of what the letters stand for or who is responsible."
The latest incident took place at Droitwich Cricket Club, St Peter's, Church Lane, between 20:00 on August 4 and 07:00 on August 5.
The tag was painted on the clubhouse and sight screen.
It has also appeared on the underpass between Ombersley Street East and Ombersley Street West, Emmanuel church Blake Avenue and the Dorset House residential home sign in Blackfriars Avenue.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0300 333 3000.
