Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a high value dwelling burglary that took place in Ogbourne St George, Marlborough.
Between approximately 0001 hours on Thursday 26th January 2012 and 1:30pm on Monday 30th January 2012 a detached property in the village was broken into.
A tidy search of the address has been made and several items of jewellery were taken including.
These include:
PC Sophia McIntyre from the Priority Crime Team in Swindon, said:
‘It is clear that the offender/s have broken into the address in order to steal cash and jewellery as other high value items have been ignored.
‘In order to progress my inquiry and identify those responsible, I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area between the stated dates and times who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously.
'You can be assured that any information I receive will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
'I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered any of the items of jewellery.'
