Half a tonne of scrap metal was stolen from industrial premises in Kirkton Industrial Estate some time between Friday (June 17) and 7pm on Sunday (June 19).

The various bits of metal - worth around £300 - were taken from Ladco in Sir William Smith Road.

Clearly a vehicle was required for this crime.

Tayside Police would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw anything that could assist enquiries to call 0300 111 2222.
