Police are appealing for information following a fire at a farmyard in Ramsey Heights.

The fire service was called to the site close to Ugg Mere Court Road at 2.30am on Sunday (November 13), to reports of a caravan and fence on fire.

Horses and pigs are kept at the site but were not harmed by the fire.

The fire was started between 10pm on Saturday (November 12) and 2.30am the following day.

Detective Constable Vanessa Dodds, investigating, said:

"I would appeal to anyone with any information about the fire to call police."

Anyone with any information should call DC Dodds on 101.
