Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses in connection with an incident outside a nightclub in Windsor.
The incident happened at 3.11am on 17 December outside the Liquid nightclub in William Street.
Officers were called to attend a public order incident, and during the course of dealing with the disturbance carried out an arrest on a 19-year-old man on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
During the course of the arrest, the man sustained facial injuries and has subsequently filed a complaint with Thames Valley Police, who have referred the matter on to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), which is now supervising the investigation.
As part of this investigation, Thames Valley Police is releasing CCTV images of people that witnessed the incident to urge them to come forward and discuss with officers what they saw.
Det Ch Insp Yvette Hitch, of the Thames Valley Police Professional Standards Department, said:
"The CCTV clearly shows a number of people standing close to the incident, who will be able to provide us with valuable information."
