Jewellery and designer watches taken in break-ins: Cove

Grampian Police are investigating break-ins to houses in the Cove area on Tuesday 12 January 2010.

The incidents occurred between 3pm and 5pm at Loirston Road and Loirston Place, Aberdeen.

A quantity of jewellery including designer watches and personal electrical items valued at a high four-figure sum were stolen.

Grampian Police are requesting information regarding anyone suspicious seen in the area at the time of the incident.

Investigating officer, Constable Claire Buchan said:

"I'd urge residents to be vigilant during the dark evenings and to report anything or anyone acting suspiciously."
