Police have released an image of a man after a teenager was assaulted in Bury.
At 10pm on Sunday 29 January 2012, the 17-year-old victim had just got off a bus at the BP Garage on Brandlesholme Road.
As she was walked along the junction with Mayor Street and Back Walshaw Road North she was approached by a man.
He asked for directions to a shop before the victim walked off.
She was followed and when she told the man to leave her alone, he grabbed her and pushed her against a wall.
She screamed at him and managed to fight him off before running away.
The offender is described as:
Detective Inspector Vicky Shaw from Bury CID said:
"I would urge anyone who saw a man fitting this description to contact us as soon as possible.
"We would also like to speak to anyone who may have been on the 472 bus travelling from Stubbins to Bury and who may have seen him approach the victim."
