Man charged with drug offences sought by police: Barrow-in-Furness

Cumbria police are appealing to the public for help in tracing 39-year-old Darren Morgan of Church Street, Barrow, who is wanted by police after being charged with drugs offences.

Morgan was due in Furness and District Magistrates Court on 12th May 2009 to be sentenced for the personal possession of heroin but failed to appear.

Morgan is described as:

  • a white male
  • 6'1" tall
  • thick silver hair
  • blue/grey eyes
  • slim build
  • Liverpudlian accent

Officers believe that Morgan is still in Cumbria and is believed to be in the Barrow area.

He has links to Ulverston and the Lake District - he resided in Windermere for a number of years.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts or who sees a man who matches the above description is asked to contact Barrow Police on 0845 33 00 247.
