Man uses forged Scottish bank notes in the Cradock Arms, CCTV issued: Leicester

Police have issued a CCTV image of man they would like to identify and trace after an incident of fraud in Leicester.

Officers have received a report of a man using forged Scottish notes to purchase items from the Cradock Arms Public House in Knighton Road just after 5pm on Wednesday November 23, 2011.

Officers wish to identify the man in the image and are appealing to anyone who may recognise him to contact us.

PC James Mungovin is investigating the incident, he said:

"We would appeal to anyone who has any suspicions about the identity of the man to contact us.

"Even if you're not 100% sure we can quickly eliminate people from our enquiries."

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact PC 887 James Mungovin on 101, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 0887.
