Motorist leaves service station without paying for fuel, CCTV issued: Leighton Buzzard

Police investigating the theft of fuel from a Leighton Buzzard filling station have issued CCTV pictures of a man they want to interview.

The offence happened at around 6pm on Tuesday, April 6, when a black Vauxhall Corsa pulled into the TCS Grovebury Service Station in Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard.

The driver filled his tank with more than £41 worth of unleaded petrol before getting back in the car and driving off without making any attempt to pay.

The offender is described as:

  • a white male
  • aged approximately 25-30 years old
  • 5'7" tall
  • short dark hair
  • wearing a black fleece
