Thames Valley Police in Milton Keynes is appealing for witnesses after a cat was killed by a dog on Saturday (7/8).
The black lurcher attacked a 20-year-old cat at 4.30pm on Craddocks Close, Bradwell.
The cat died as a result of its injuries.
The owner of the dog is described as:
She was on a dark blue mobility scooter which had a bright blue cushion on it.
PC Matt Thorn, investigating, said:
"Understandably the owner of the cat is very upset and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they may know the owner of the dog to contact me.
"We need to trace the owner to give her the appropriate advice and support to ensure that this can not happen again."
