Strathclyde Police is releasing CCTV images of a person that detectives would like to trace in connection with the death of Mark Gallagher (37) following an altercation in c, on Sunday 15 January 2012.
It is emphasised that this person is a potential key witness.
This man was in the area at the time and could possess information that is critical to the investigation.
The images are of a man who is at the Co-op in Argyll Street, Alexandria, about 4 pm on Sunday 15 January 2012.
He is described as:
Speaking today, Detective Inspector Graham Cordner, the officer in charge of this investigation, said:
"I believe that this person who is seen in the area, is a key witness and could have information that is vital to this investigation.
"I would urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward to police as a matter of urgency and assist us in this murder investigation."
