A quantity of horse painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs have been taken during a burglary in Harpole on Sunday 27 June.

Sometime between noon and 4.30pm offenders broke into the property and stole the drugs.

The drugs have potentially fatal consequences if ingested and officers are advising people not to be tempted to take them.

Approximately 75 sachets of EQUIPALAZONE (a white powder) and approx 25 sachets of DANILON (yellow crystals) were taken.

Both are NSAIDS - non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs for equine use and are prescription only from vets.

Anyone in possession of the drugs or who finds them is asked to hand them in at either a police station or pharmacist.

Anyone with information can contact police on 03000 111222.
