Potential witness to post office robbery asked to come forward, CCTV issued: Parson Cross

Police investigating a robbery in the Parson Cross area of the city would like to speak to the pictured man, who they believe may hold vital information about the incident.

At around 6.30pm on Saturday 3 December 2011, four men wearing face coverings and one of them armed with what is believed to be a hammer, entered a Post Office on Colley Road.

The men then threatened a male member of staff, pushed him to the ground and demanded money.

The suspects left the scene on foot, running towards Shiregreen, with a quantity of cash.

The potential witness is described as:

  • a white male
  • dark complexion
  • shaven head
  • dark facial stubble
