Racist graffiti on buildings and pavements: Quorn

Officers from Charnwood local policing unit are appealing for public help after two incidents of damage in Quorn.

The incident is believed to have taken place sometime during the morning of Sunday February 28.

Racist letters were painted on to two buildings and pavements at the Quorn Country Hotel and Quorn Village Hall in Leicester Road.

The letters were painted on in brush strokes using a distinctive grey paint.

PC Matt Orton is investigating the incidents, he said:

"I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or knows who may be responsible to contact me.

"Do you know someone who had grey paint on their hands or clothing on Sunday February 28? If so, I would urge you to contact us.

"Even the smallest of detail could help with our investigation."
