89-year-old male pedestrian dies in collision with tipper lorry: Gorleston

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision on the A143 Beccles Road in Gorleston.

At approximately 9.15am on Friday 31July, an 89-year-old male pedestrian was involved in a collision with a tipper lorry.

The pedestrian was taken to the James Paget Hospital but sadly later died.

He was Henry Edward Springall of Humberstone Road, Gorleston.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or events leading up to it.
