Police are appealing for information and have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following a robbery at a Blackpool shop last week.
At around 5:15pm on Thursday 19th January 2012, a man entered Simply Food and Drink off licence on Hornby Road, Blackpool and began talking to the shop assistant.
As he did, he then walked round the back of the counter, produced a knife and threatened her and told her to open the till, which she did.
The man then grabbed a small amount of money from the till and left the store and police are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
The offender is described as:
DC Neil Smith of Blackpool CID said,
"I would ask that if anybody has any information about the incident or recognises the man in the CCTV images that they contact police.
"I am confident that somebody will know this person and I urge anybody with information to come forward."
