Security guard sustains broken arm in assault at The Howard Centre, CCTV: Welwyn Garden City

Police are releasing CCTV images of two men they would like to speak with in connection with an assault in The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City in the early hours of Saturday, December 17.

At around 2.10am two men forced their way into the shopping centre by smashing a pane of glass in one of the doors.

A security guard, a 30-year-old man, detained one of the men before both assaulted the victim.

He suffered a broken arm, cut to his elbow and a bump to his head.

Police Community Support Office Katherine Blenkin is investigating and said:

"I would like appeal to the men pictured or anyone who may know them to contact me as I would like to speak with them in connection with the incident."
