The e-fit formed part of an appeal and reconstruction featured on the BBC's Crimewatch programme of June 29.
Also included were a series of three CCTV images showing people on Ashley Road at around the time of the incident.
Police are appealing for these people, or anyone who can identify them, to come forward.
The victim was attacked at around 5.15am on Minto Road in St Werburgh's after a night out at the Clockwork night club in Stokes Croft.
Detective Inspector Will White is leading the investigation:
"The victim's family showed incredible strength in taking part in the programme.
"We are all hoping the reconstruction and CCTV images shown will generate calls from the public to help us identify her attacker.
"The e-fit, CCTV images and reconstruction are all available to view on the Crimewatch website, www.bbc.co.uk/crimewatch and I would urge people who may be able to help to please take a moment to look at them.
"A young woman has been left seriously traumatised by this incident and we are determined to catch the man who subjected her to this ordeal."
