Officers from Melton Mowbray are appealing for witnesses following the theft of ten sheep hurdles from Belvoir.
The incident is believed to have happened sometime between 6pm on Thursday September 2 and 8am on Friday September 3 from a field in Woolsthorpe Road.
PC Paul Anderson who is investigating the incident said:
"We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
"This area is very popular with dog walkers and we are asking people to think back, were you in the area at the time and remember seeing someone acting suspiciously but haven't reported it to the police yet?
"We are also appealing to scrap metal dealers to be on the look out for anyone trying to sell sheep hurdles.
"If you come across anything suspicious please get in touch."
