Police are appealing for information after chickens were stolen from an allotment in Blanchland, West Tynedale.

Between 7pm Tuesday, October 25, and 8:30am Wednesday, October 26, thieves entered the allotments in Park Bank and stole three chickens along with their chicken hut.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday to contact them on 03456 043 043 ext 69191.
