Someone set fire to a panel in a fence at an address in Pembroke Way around 2.45pm on Thursday 11 March.

The fire spread, destroying the fence panel, damaging nearby conifers and causing plastic guttering on the house to melt.

The blaze was quickly extinguished by the fire service.
