Police in Doncaster are appealing for information after a man was kidnapped and assaulted in the early evening of Monday, 19 April.
The 35-year-old man was assaulted by five men at an address on Thorne Road near Lindholme prison.
He was then taken in a white Peugeot van to a disused outbuilding in the fields leading off from Common Lane between Lindholme and Auckley.
Here he was further assaulted by three men.
Police are particularly interested in tracing a man who is believed to have been in a car with two children near Common Lane and may have seen the white Peugeot van go past.
The man sustained a broken arm, had teeth knocked out as well as cuts and bruises all over his body.

Detective Constable Lee Szedzielarz said:
"We believe this to be a targeted attack as a result of a dispute over stolen property.
"I would urge the public to come forward if they have any information that may help the investigation."
Police are keen to hear from anybody who may have seen the white van driving in the area or seen anything suspicious.

NOTE: two men have been arrested in relation to the incident.
A 23-year-old has been charged with kidnap and grievous bodily harm.
A 27-year-old has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
Both men have been remanded to custody.
