With regards to your appeal for missing registered sex ofender Dennis Bowskill, posted on 20th March 2010. Bowskil was arrested by Dutch police in June, in Amsterdam, after a tip off from a Dutch citizen who had found Bowskill on your website. Today, 17th August, Bowskil was extradited back to the UK and is to appear at Burnley Crown Court on 18th August where he will receive a lengthy custodial sentence.
I thought you might like to know that your site has made a difference and contributed to the removal of a dangerous sex offender.

A man from Padiham wanted for making indecent images of children has been extradited from Holland back to the UK after being on the run for three months.
Dennis Bowskill, 43 who is a registered sex offender was due to appear before Burnley Crown Court on the 8th March 2010 to enter a plea to charges of making and possession of indecent images but he failed to appear.
A bench warrant and a European arrest warrant were issued for his arrest and on 16th June 2010 Bowskill was arrested at Amsterdam railway station by Dutch officers working with officers from Lancashire Constabulary's Public Protection Unit and members of the Serious Organised Crime Agency.
Bowskill, one of the UK's most wanted sex offenders, also appeared on the BBC 1 Crimewatch Roadshow in June.
A Lancashire Constabulary spokesperson said
"Mr Bowskill was arrested after close cooperation between Lancashire Constabulary and partner agencies including SOCA, CEOP and INTERPOL.
"His capture was also due to coverage given to Mr Bowskill on the internet and in local and national media and the vigilance of Dutch citizens.
"I would hope that this arrest can provide reassurance that we will do everything possible, working with our partners to ensure that we bring people to justice."
