CCTV images have been released of a man police wish to trace after a quantity of whisky was stolen from a South Tyneside store.

The incident happened between 2.40pm and 2.50pm, on Saturday, October 10, at Asda, North Road, Boldon Colliery.

The offender concealed the alcohol in a bag inside the store before making off.

Police are keen to speak to the man in the images who may have information to assist with enquiries.
