Police are appealing for witnesses after a man grabbed a girl who was playing in woods in Wigan.
At about 8pm on 31 May 2011, a 14-year-old girl was in woodland off Carr Lane, Hawkley Hall, when she was chased by a man.
The offender grabbed the girl's clothing and tripped her over, telling her: "Running won't help."
He then ran off when he was disturbed by two passers-by.
They are described as two women, who the girl assumed were mother and daughter.

Police Constable Paul Fairhurst from the Pemberton Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:
"The girl is understandably upset at what happened and I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly the two people who appear to have disturbed the offender.
"The girl has been able to give us a very good description of this man and if you think you know who he is please get in touch."
