Woman on mobillity scooter assaulted with Fairy Liquid and an egg: Barrow-in-Furness
(LA13 - Tuesday, 16 June, 2009)

At 21.15 hours on Monday 15 June a female on a mobility scooter was alleged to have been assaulted by a young male who got out of a passing black car and squirted Fairy Liquid into her hair and onto her scooter.

This was on Cambridge Street, Barrow.

The male offender was described as:

• aged 20's
• dark hair
• wearing a white top and baseball cap.

He was accompanied by a female with blond hair who threw an egg at the victim.

The egg did not make any contact with the victim.

They then both got into the waiting car and left the area at speed.

The woman was uninjured but distressed by the incident.
