Postcodes on The Missing List

Although the postcode is not required when you enter an appeal on the Missing List, it is highly recommended as the postcode forms the basis of one of the major search facilities available to people, namely the Local Search. This search facility allows people to refine the information they receive to that which is more relevant to their area.

Without a postcode, your appeal may be overlooked amongst the many other appeals posted on a daily basis to the Missing List.

The full postcode is hidden when your appeal is viewed by other users of The Missing List and just shows the area - e.g LS1 instead of LS1 5AB.
