Priceless drum kit stolen from car: Manchester Priceless drum kit stolen from car: Manchester

A drum kit worth thousands of pounds was stolen from a car in Manchester.

The vehicle, which was parked secure and unattended on Harrison Street, Ardwick, was broken into sometime between 9 October 2008 and 16 October 2008.

The victim had built up the drum kit over the past four years and was currently a member of two bands; Accountable for Non (based in Stoke) and Manchester jazz band, Band on the Wall.

Neighbourhood Police Constable Natalie Barlow, based at Grey Mare Lane, said:

"Not only was the drum kit extremely expensive, it had sentimental value to the owner.

"It is likely someone will have, or will be, trying to sell the equipment.

"If you have been approached or know anything about where the drum kit now is, please get in touch."

Anyone with any information is asked to call Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 5050.
